After a long search we were able to contact a small woodworking shop in Northern India whose proprietor has agreed to turn these mallets for us from "Sheeshaw" wood (a relative of Rosewood). They are being offered in two sizes: 3 1/2 inch diameter x 8 inch (14oz.) and 4 1/2 inch diameter x 10 inch (28oz.). We believe these wood mallets will provide woodcarvers many years of service, |
